New London Parks and Attractions
New London Trails
There are no trails currently in New London. Plans call for a trail which is a part of the Carolina Thread Trail and which runs from north of Misenheimer through Richfield and then through New London to North Stanly High School. This planned trail will be 9.5 miles in length.
New London Park
The New London Park is small and occupies about 0.5 acres. The park is a family park and has benches, picnic tables and playground equipment. This park is used for Community celebrations.

The park is in New London is located near the corner of Old US 52 and Gold Street.
Future Park
The Town of New London was recently given 18 acres of property. It is the Town’s intent to convert the property into a park. They have applied for a park grant. Click here to see the plan for the park.
Area Attractions
The New London Area Historical Museum is located in New London on Old US 52. It has many area artifacts and is open to the public on Sundays 2-4 PM.
